WHY WE'RE BUILDING A FOUNDING BOARD

As we move from pilot research into long-term nonprofit growth, we are intentionally building a founding board that reflects both scientific rigor and responsible governance.

The board will help guide:

● research integrity and ethical oversight

● financial stewardship and sustainability

● strategic partnerships

● fundraising and philanthropy

● community credibility

● long-term mission growth

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking founding board members with expertise in one or more of the following areas:

● nursing leadership and clinician wellbeing
● healthcare or medical practice
● nonprofit finance, CPA, or grants administration
● fundraising and philanthropy
● nonprofit law, compliance, or research ethics
● university research partnerships
● healthcare systems leadership

We are especially interested in leaders who care deeply about burnout prevention, nurse wellbeing, innovative wellness research, and building trustworthy bridges between community-based interventions and academic science.

Board Commitment

We anticipate a two-year founding term with:

● quarterly board meetings

● occasional committee or strategy calls as needed

● support with introductions and relationship-building

● participation in strategic fundraising conversations

● guidance on governance and policy development

 

This is a working founding board, meaning members will play an active role in helping shapethe organization’s structure, credibility, and growth trajectory.
